Farnaz Fattahi is an experienced academic with over a decade of teaching in Architectural Design Studio, Experimental Architecture and Architectural theory in various universities including the University of New South wales and University of Technology Sydney. As a qualitative researcher and qualitative data analyst in Architectural Design, she is currently undertaking her PhD research titled 'Spatial Provocateur_ Choreographing Scenarios of Collective Interaction' in the School of Built Environment, 91探花. Her research investigates temporary spatial interventions to prompt collective interactions in public spaces. Additionally, as a creative place-based strategist and a project advisor for the WIL program in 91探花, Farnaz has collaborated with esteemed cultural institutions such as the Powerhouse Museum, Australian National Maritime Museum and Randwick Health & Innovation Precent on developing engagement initiatives through spatial and programming strategies. Currently, she also serves as the executive assistant at the Australian Research Council Centre for Next-Gen Architectural Manufacturing.
